The Golden Age of Islam under Khilafah
The Islamic Golden Age is a historical period lasting from c. 750 CE to c. 1257 CE, during which philosophers, scientists and engineers of the Islamic world are credited with a period of contribution to scientific knowledge, cultural arts, civilization and architecture, both by developing earlier traditions and by a period of relatively rapid and marked innovation. A substantial degree of historic Islamic intellectual innovation occurred in the Islamic Golden age, and it was this which helped to bring Europe out of the dark ages and brought about the resonance (rebirth) of Europe, Islam brought the light back into a world of darkness.

Islam in India இந்தியாவில் இஸ்லாம்
Islam in India
Did you know...
Islam is the second largest religion in India
India holds the third largest population of Muslims from around the world.
If the Indian Muslims constituted one country, they would be ranked in the Top 10 of highest populations by country.
Sanskrit was one of the first languages to be translated into Arabic (post AH).
The Mughal Empire at its zenith covered almost all of India, Pakistan, Bangladesh and large chunks of Central Asia,
India is one of the few (if not only) non-Muslim majority country's in the world that reserves the right for Muslims to refer to the Shariah for Personal Law.
Three of India's Presidents have been Muslim.
Indian Occupied Kashmir is the only Indian state that has a majority Muslim population.
Indian Muslim's were among the most prominent advocates of anti-colonialism in pre-independence India.
Indian-Islamic architecture is regarded as among some of the best Islamic architecture in the Muslim world.
If Hindustani (Hindi & Urdu) was regarded as one language, it would possibly be the second largest language in the world, on its own.
The overwhelming majority of Indian Muslims are of Arabic, Persian or Turkish descent, as opposed to being "forcefully converted". Exception to the rule: Mappilas - they embraced Islam voluntarily very early on.

Native Deen - Not Afraid to stand Alone
A new track from Native deen. (Final edition)
* Added Lyrics:
I am not afraid to stand alone
I am not afraid to stand alone
If Allah is by my side
I am not afraid to stand alone
Everything is gonna be alright
I am not afraid to stand alone
Going keep my head up high
I am not afraid to stand alone
If Allah is by my side
Everything is going be alright
Going to keep my head up high
Single mother raising her children
And Now she's a Muslim
Started praying and wearing a headscarf
It Was a healing for her heart
Struggling with no one to lean on
But with prayer she would be strong
Had a job but then she was laid off
Got a better education and it paid off
She was called for a job that she dreamed of
Close by, great pay -she was in love --
They brought her in -- told her shes the 1 pick
You got the job, but you gotta lose the outfit"
It's a tough position that you put me in
Cause look at my condition, and my two children
But I'll continue looking for a job again
Cause my faith and my religion I will never bend
I am not afraid to stand alone
I am not afraid to stand alone
If Allah is by my side
I am not afraid to stand alone
Everything is gonna be alright
I am not afraid to stand alone
Going keep my head up high
I am not afraid to stand alone
If Allah is by my side
Everything is going be alright
Going to keep my head up high
Peer pressure, they were insisting
And I was resisting
Some days.... I felt I would give in
Just wanted to fit in
I know.....when I'm praying and fasting'
They be teasing and laughing
So I called to my Lord for the power
For the strength every day, every hour...
one day there's a new Muslim teacher
Single mom and the people respect her
Just seeing.... her strength I get stronger
They can break my will no longer
You don't see me sweatin' when they're jokes cracking
Never see me cussing' with my pants saggin'
I aint never running Yo Im still standing,
sorry I aint jumping on your band wagon, cause...
I am not afraid to stand alone
I am not afraid to stand alone
If Allah is by my side
I am not afraid to stand alone
Everything is gonna be alright
I am not afraid to stand alone
Going keep my head up high
I am not afraid to stand alone
If Allah is by my side
Everything is going be alright
Going to keep my head up high
Now, I'm a tough one, who can bear their blows
The rest play dumb, they don't dare say no
Scared of being shunned, but its clear they know
I aint never gonna run, I aint scared no more....
Man, these sisters be resolute
Never stressed when the rest say they wasn't cute
And the get the respect of the other youth
Come best with the dress yo and thats the truth
These sisters are strong gonna hand it down
So me Im a brotha gotta stand my ground
No fear, Im tough Im the man in town
Peer pressure no more, its my planet now
Others may fall, but Im hold my own
With Allahs help I'll be strong as stone
And I'll be the one to let Al Islam be shown
Cause I am not afraid yo to stand alone
I am not afraid to stand alone
I am not afraid to stand alone
If Allah is by my side
I am not afraid to stand alone
Everything is gonna be alright
I am not afraid to stand alone
Going keep my head up high
I am not afraid to stand alone
If Allah is by my side
Everything is going be alright
Going to keep my head up high

Islam and Muslims in Taiwan +Taipei Grand Mosque - 台北 清真寺
Islam and Muslims in Taiwan
Ibrahim Bao
The presence of Islam and Muslims in Taiwan is not very old. Around 1949 thousands of Muslims from all parts of Mainland China migrated to Taiwan in company with the Nationalist government. Again in 1980 a big influx of Muslims from Thailand and Myanmar immigrated into this part of the world. The present population of Taiwan Muslims counts at about 60,000 which is 0.2 per cent of the total population. Most of the native Muslims are soldiers and public servants.
There is about 40,000 to 50,00 expatriate Muslim here who came from the other Southeast Asian countries. Most of them work in manufacturing or construction industry, or in taking care of the seniors.
Historically, Islam’s arrival in Taiwan can be traced back to the later period of Ming dynasty and early period of Chin dynasty. During his seven voyages to the West in the early 15th century, the great Muslim navigator Zenghe (Abdul Sabur Ma) landed on Taiwan and preached Islam to the natives.
Cheng Ho, a Ming general, came to Taiwan with his army in 1661. There are many Muslim soldiers in his troops who had brought their families with them to Taiwan and settled down there. The design and style of the mosque they built was like the mosques in Mainland China. During the Chin dynasty, Taiwan and Mainland China had a strong link. Muslims living in Mainland coasts also went to Taiwan with the tide of immigration so that they spread over the western coast of Taiwan.
